It’s one step closer to a reality.
The bill that would ban right turns on red in the downtown area has advanced in Metro Council after its’ first reading. It’ll now head to the Metro Traffic and Parking Commission before a second reading. This bill was introduced as a way to keep pedestrians safe on the road and slow down some drivers.
