School may be back in session, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop!
There are some free events happening at Nashville Parks to enjoy. Shelby Bottoms Nature Center will do a Nature Center after dark event tomorrow night for kids of all ages to learn about nocturnal animals, see a movie and make s’mores, Bells Bend Outdoor Center has nature journaling events for teens, also a citronella candle making day coming up.
Fort Negley will have their geologist day in early September where you can explore their fossil collection area. Lots of ways to get the kids outside and enjoy every second of sunshine left.
