You’ve noticed that the widening of I-65 is underway near the Davidson and Sumner County line. TDOT’s working on the new Diverging Diamond Interchange being built where I-65 and US-31W meet in Goodlettsville. It’s “crisscross traffic pattern” that requires drivers to briefly enter the opposite direction of the road, go underneath the interstate, and emerge on their original side.
