April 22 (Reuters) – Air New Zealand said on Wednesday that its finance chief Richard Thomson has resigned and will leave the airline on August 28.
The airline has commenced a search for a new chief financial officer.
The company has announced fare hikes and flight consolidations across May and June due to the strain from Middle East tensions.
The airline said during this tenure, Thomson has contributed to the recapitalisation of the airline, the post-COVID recovery and response to the fleet availability challenges.
