Air New Zealand’s chief financial officer resigns, airline commences search for replacement

April 22 (Reuters) – Air New Zealand said on Wednesday ​that its ‌finance chief Richard Thomson has resigned and will leave ‌the ​airline on ⁠August 28.

The ⁠airline has commenced a search for a new chief ​financial officer.

The company has announced ⁠fare hikes ⁠and flight ​consolidations across May and ​June due to ‌the strain from Middle East tensions.

The airline said ⁠during this tenure, Thomson has contributed to the ⁠recapitalisation ‌of the ⁠airline, the ​post-COVID ‌recovery and response ​to the ⁠fleet availability challenges.
