Jewell Brown has just been named a finalist for the “More Than a Pet Community Hero Award.” This award is presented by the Humane World for Animals, previously named the Humane Society of the US. Jewell is known in the community for helping people in the homeless community, especially those with dogs.
She gives them supplies like dog food, clothes for the dogs, leashes, collars, and other essentials. Jewell is one of 3 finalists and will travel to Pittsburgh soon to see if she won the award at a ceremony. You can vote for her once a day until April 8th!
